Warranty & Product Guarantee
Warranty & Product Guarantee
At Mediamarto LLC, we want our customers to shop with confidence. We stand behind the products we sell and are committed to providing appropriate support if a product arrives defective, damaged, or does not perform as reasonably expected.
This Warranty & Product Guarantee explains how warranty claims are handled, what may be covered, what is excluded, and how to contact us if you experience a problem.
Nothing in this policy limits, excludes, or replaces any mandatory warranty, conformity, repair, replacement, or consumer protection rights available to you under applicable law.
1. Our Product Guarantee
Products sold by Mediamarto as new are intended to be genuine, new products and free from material defects at the time of delivery.
If an eligible product develops a fault, please contact us so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate next step.
Depending on the product, circumstances, applicable manufacturer warranty, and applicable law, the available solution may include:
- Troubleshooting assistance
- Repair
- Replacement
- Manufacturer warranty assistance
- Replacement of a defective component
- Full or partial refund
- Another remedy required under applicable law
The appropriate solution will depend on the nature of the problem and the warranty rights applicable to the purchase.
2. Manufacturer Warranties
Many electronics and branded products sold by Mediamarto may include a warranty provided directly by the manufacturer.
The duration, geographic coverage, and conditions of a manufacturer warranty vary by product and manufacturer.
Manufacturer warranty coverage may depend on factors including:
- Product type
- Model
- Serial number
- Country or region
- Purchase date
- Nature of the defect
- Manufacturer warranty conditions
Where appropriate, Mediamarto may assist customers with information needed to pursue an applicable manufacturer warranty.
A manufacturer's warranty is separate from any mandatory statutory rights you may have against the seller.
3. Warranty Periods
Warranty periods can vary between products and manufacturers.
Any specific warranty period advertised on a Mediamarto product page applies to that product subject to the stated warranty conditions.
Where no specific Mediamarto warranty period is advertised, this should not be interpreted as an additional fixed commercial warranty from Mediamarto beyond any manufacturer warranty or mandatory rights provided by applicable law.
Your statutory consumer rights may apply independently of any commercial or manufacturer warranty.
4. Products Covered
Depending on the applicable product and warranty terms, warranty support may be available for products such as:
- Gaming consoles
- Gaming controllers
- Computers and related hardware
- Televisions
- Audio equipment
- Headphones and earbuds
- Consumer electronics
- Electronic accessories
- Tools and equipment
- Other eligible products sold by Mediamarto
Coverage depends on the specific product and the nature of the issue.
5. Defective on Arrival
If a product is defective when you receive it, contact us at info@mediamarto.com as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
- Your full name
- Your order number
- Product name
- Description of the problem
- Clear photographs where relevant
- Video demonstrating the fault where reasonably possible
- Serial number or model number where applicable
We may ask you to perform reasonable troubleshooting steps before arranging a return or other remedy.
If the product is confirmed to have been defective when supplied, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.
6. Products Damaged During Delivery
If your product arrives physically damaged, please notify us as soon as possible.
Please retain:
- The product
- Original retail packaging
- Shipping carton
- Protective packaging
- Accessories
- Shipping label
Take clear photographs of the shipping carton and product before disposing of any packaging.
This information can be important when investigating shipping damage with the carrier.
Delivery-related damage is handled in accordance with our Shipping & Delivery Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
7. What May Be Covered
Subject to the applicable warranty and consumer law, covered defects may include manufacturing or hardware failures occurring during normal intended use.
Examples may include:
- Hardware component failure
- Manufacturing defects
- Electrical faults not caused by external damage
- Buttons, ports, displays, or controls failing due to a manufacturing defect
- Products that materially fail to function as described
- Missing or defective components supplied with the product
Coverage will be assessed based on the individual circumstances.
8. What Is Generally Not Covered
Unless applicable law or a manufacturer's warranty provides otherwise, warranty coverage generally does not apply to problems caused by:
- Accidental damage
- Drops or impacts
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Misuse or abuse
- Improper storage
- Improper installation
- Unauthorized repair
- Unauthorized modification
- Opening or tampering with components where this caused the defect
- Incorrect electrical supply or voltage
- Using incompatible accessories
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions
- Fire, flooding, or other external events
- Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumable components reaching the end of their normal service life
- Damage occurring after delivery that is unrelated to a manufacturing defect
A warranty claim will not be rejected merely because a product has been opened or repaired where applicable law prohibits such a restriction.
9. Batteries
Rechargeable batteries naturally lose capacity over time.
Normal battery degradation resulting from ordinary use is generally considered wear rather than a manufacturing defect.
However, a battery that is defective or performs materially outside reasonable specifications may be eligible for warranty assistance depending on the product, manufacturer warranty, age of the product, and applicable law.
10. Software & Digital Issues
Software-related problems may sometimes be resolved through:
- Software updates
- Firmware updates
- Factory resets
- Account troubleshooting
- Manufacturer technical support
A software problem caused by third-party applications, unauthorized modifications, unsupported software, account restrictions, or other circumstances unrelated to the product's hardware may not constitute a hardware warranty claim.
Digital games, activation codes, and downloadable products may have separate conditions.
11. Regional Products & Warranty Coverage
Mediamarto may source genuine products through domestic and international supply channels.
Some products may therefore be manufactured or packaged for different markets.
Manufacturer warranty coverage can vary by country or region. A manufacturer may restrict its commercial warranty service to the region in which a product was originally distributed.
Where a regional product difference is material, we aim to disclose relevant information on the applicable product page.
Regardless of manufacturer warranty availability, mandatory rights that you have against Mediamarto as the seller remain unaffected where applicable.
12. Serial Number Verification
For high-value electronics, Mediamarto may record:
- Serial numbers
- IMEI numbers
- Model numbers
- Product identifiers
- Other identifying information
This information may be used for warranty verification, fraud prevention, return verification, and product identification.
A product submitted for warranty service must correspond with the product originally supplied by Mediamarto.
Where legally permitted, warranty assistance may be refused if:
- The serial number has been intentionally removed or altered in a way relevant to the claim.
- The returned serial number does not match our records.
- A different product has been substituted.
- The product was not purchased from Mediamarto.
- There is evidence of fraudulent substitution or manipulation.
13. How to Make a Warranty Claim
To start a warranty claim, contact:
Please include:
Order Number: Your Mediamarto order number
Product: Product experiencing the issue
Problem: A detailed description of the fault
Evidence: Photos or video where appropriate
Serial Number: Where applicable
Our customer support team will review your request and provide the next steps.
Do not send a product to our registered business address unless our customer support team specifically instructs you to do so.
Unauthorized returns may cause processing delays.
14. Troubleshooting
Before approving a warranty return, we may ask you to complete reasonable troubleshooting procedures.
These may include:
- Restarting the device
- Installing official software or firmware updates
- Performing a factory reset where appropriate
- Testing another cable or power source
- Checking connections
- Following manufacturer troubleshooting instructions
Customers should back up important data before performing a factory reset or returning a device.
If troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, we will advise you regarding the appropriate next step.
15. Inspection & Testing
Products returned under a warranty claim may be inspected and tested to verify the reported fault.
Testing may determine:
- Whether the reported defect can be reproduced
- Whether the product has a manufacturing fault
- Whether physical or liquid damage is present
- Whether unauthorized modifications contributed to the issue
- Whether the serial number matches the product originally supplied
We will use the results of the inspection together with applicable warranty terms and consumer law to determine the appropriate remedy.
16. Repair or Replacement
Where repair or replacement is an appropriate remedy, we may provide:
- The same product
- The same model
- A manufacturer-approved replacement
- An equivalent product where appropriate and legally permitted
Replacement availability may depend on current inventory.
For discontinued, limited-edition, or sold-out products, an identical replacement may not always be available. In such cases, we will provide an appropriate alternative remedy in accordance with applicable law.
17. Replacement Products
A replacement product provided under warranty may carry the remainder of the original applicable warranty or such additional coverage as required by the manufacturer or applicable law.
Providing a replacement does not reduce any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be restricted.
18. Data on Electronic Devices
Customers are responsible for backing up personal data before sending an electronic device for inspection, repair, replacement, or return.
Where possible, remove:
- Personal accounts
- Passwords
- Payment information
- Personal photographs and files
- Memory cards
- SIM cards
- External storage
A repair or replacement process may require a factory reset and could result in loss of stored data.
To the extent permitted by law, Mediamarto is not responsible for data loss unrelated to a breach of our legal obligations.
19. Accessories
When returning a complete product for warranty inspection, we may ask you to include the accessories necessary to test the reported issue.
Do not send unnecessary accessories unless instructed.
Our customer support team will tell you what needs to be included with the return.
20. Warranty Return Shipping
If a product has a covered defect for which Mediamarto is legally responsible, return shipping will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the instructions provided by our customer support team.
Do not independently ship a warranty product to an address without authorization.
If you choose to use an unauthorized shipping method or address, Mediamarto may not be able to properly identify or process the package.
21. No Fault Found
If a returned product is tested and the reported defect cannot be reproduced, we will contact you regarding the results and available next steps.
We will not deny mandatory consumer rights solely because a fault is intermittent or difficult to reproduce.
Where legally permitted, costs resulting from clearly unsupported or fraudulent claims may be handled according to applicable law.
22. Replacement Does Not Guarantee an Upgrade
Warranty replacement is intended to restore the customer to the appropriate product condition, not provide a free product upgrade.
Unless otherwise agreed, a warranty replacement does not entitle a customer to a newer, more expensive, or upgraded model solely because one has subsequently been released.
23. Manufacturer Recalls
If a manufacturer or relevant authority issues a product safety recall affecting an item sold by Mediamarto, customers should follow the applicable recall instructions.
Where appropriate, we may communicate known recall information to affected customers.
Safety recalls may be handled directly by the manufacturer or through another process depending on the recall program.
24. Authenticity Guarantee
Our Warranty & Product Guarantee works alongside our Authenticity Guarantee.
Products represented by Mediamarto as genuine are covered by our commitment to authenticity.
If you have concerns regarding whether a product is authentic, contact info@mediamarto.com and provide your order information and supporting photographs.
25. Returns & Change of Mind
Warranty claims are different from ordinary change-of-mind returns.
If your product is working correctly but you simply no longer want it, eligibility is determined under our Return & Refund Policy.
Eligible products generally have a 30-day return period, subject to the conditions and exclusions in that policy.
26. Proof of Purchase
A valid Mediamarto order number is generally sufficient for us to locate your purchase.
We may request additional information if necessary to identify the transaction.
Warranty claims must relate to a product originally purchased from Mediamarto.
27. Transfer of Warranty
Whether a manufacturer warranty can be transferred to another owner depends on the manufacturer's warranty terms.
Any mandatory rights belonging to the original purchaser remain governed by applicable law.
Mediamarto does not independently guarantee that every manufacturer's commercial warranty is transferable.
28. Fraudulent Warranty Claims
Mediamarto reserves the right to investigate suspected warranty fraud.
We may review relevant information including:
- Order records
- Serial numbers
- Product photographs
- Return records
- Inspection results
- Customer communications
- Manufacturer information
Fraudulent substitution, intentionally false claims, or returning a different product may result in a claim being refused where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section restricts legitimate warranty claims.
29. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Mediamarto sells products to customers in multiple jurisdictions, and consumer protection laws vary by location.
Nothing in this Warranty & Product Guarantee excludes, restricts, replaces, or overrides rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
Depending on your location, you may have statutory rights relating to:
- Product conformity
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refunds
- Defective goods
- Product durability
- Merchantability
- Fitness for purpose
These statutory rights may apply independently of any manufacturer's commercial warranty.
30. No Unauthorized Additional Warranty
Unless specifically stated on the applicable product page, this policy does not create an additional fixed-duration commercial warranty beyond the warranties and guarantees expressly provided by Mediamarto, the manufacturer, or applicable law.
This policy explains how Mediamarto handles warranty and product-quality concerns and does not reduce any rights that customers already have under applicable law.
